Thank you so much for your ‘rocket ship’ analogy. I prayed the prayer, feeling complete and utter shame and worthlessness. I felt like a vacuum and my mere existence caused me shame. I prayed out of desperation and not out of faith or belief but Jesus took that prayer and 5 months later I am the most free I have ever been in my life. I look forward to and hope for the future!
