  1. It’s Wednesday. it’s January. And, what a timely word you have shared today, Dr. Grant and Kathy. “Give God permission…an adventure with God…comfort zones are like prisons…key on the inside.” And, then you said it: “Trust”…Thank you for the call higher and onward this morning.

  2. So relevant to us right now as we transition from 2020 and all it brought into 2021 and all it *could* bring into our lives with God! Just this week in two sources we are using to grow in, the concept of comfort and God as ‘comforter’ is explored. Years ago I read in a children’s book we have (written by Sally Lloyd-Jones), a reframing of the comfort that God gives us that shed light for me on the biblical true meaning of comfort. What you said very much parallels it. I will try to attach it here; it is worth looking at. (Nope, unable to do so, at least with my limited tech skills!)
A snippet of what was said, is that in the Bible, comfort does not mean ‘to make comfy’, like a warm blanket; it means ‘to send help’. To encourage us to keep going!
