  1. Thank you, one of my favorite analogies is about the Oak trees, “Oaks of Righteousness” , there are many Oaks on our family acreage I walk on and I have been watching this little Oak tree growing year by year and posting pics of it. Yes, you are right, they have onto their leaves and even keep some through the winter. They are beautiful trees and rare now, and valuable too due to how hard their wood is. They stand tall and stretch forth with their branches high, leaves at the top reaching for the Sun. May we reach toward the Son every day and stand firm and tall when the storms hit! Bless you both for sharing.

  2. So true! It took me years to forgive family members who had not treated me right and even still they hold a negative opinion of me. I am the black sheep of the family, or so they told me. I no longer believe that and have forgiven them. Forgiveness has brought me freedom from bitterness, anger and depression. Sometimes the memories of what happened fill my mind. I need to be able to block these memories and move forward in my life. I love GOD and I know He loves me. So, JESUS is the one I trust! He is my go-to in every troubling time. He is the only one who will not fail me.
