Tokyo took a direct hit and we were in the middle of it on the 37th floor of a hotel.
It was a surprising and harrowing experience.

  1. We were considering you folks and safety issues as the news of the typhoon reached us by radio…oops, no mention of the “complication” of the earthquake in the midst. Seems to be quite a “right of passage” for the several of us…ours was a milder expression of the hurricane in PEI which landed as a tropical typhoon…for us there was take-away, too…and loved how you read Psalm 46…those seemily ‘poetic phrases’ are SO much more…security and reality and His Presence & promise becoming our anchor.
You guys are the best…and the God-of-your-calling is absolutely amazing–and trustworthy, too…Oh, and so glad that the elevator swayed it’s way upward to your floor…taking the stairs would have added yet another facet to this experience!!!
