  1. After 28 years of marriage, and 3 wonderful children already adults, my wife disappeared and has not surfaced for anyone. She has divorced alsolutely everyone from her life. This has now been 13 1/2 years already. And my children and now 7 grandchildren are all thriving in spite of this. I was raised a Christian all my life and thought I knew about joy vs happiness, but now I know that I know what “Joy unspeakable and full of glory” really is. I would not want to go through a furnace like that again but I may not have experienced JOY any other way if not for this long season.
Thanks Grant for all you do!!

Laren, that’s a very painful story. What a perfect example of choosing joy through the furnace. Thanks for sharing.

  2. Thank you for clarifying the difference between happiness and joy. The more time spent in the presence of The Lord does give me joy, just wish it could last all the time.
