COVID has affected our thinking more than our bodies
In July, polls showed that 66% of women and 51% of men admitted that their mental health had been worse because of the COVID outbreak.
34% of the Canadian population have experienced high levels of stress as a result of the pandemic.
The rate of anxiety has tripled this year and 13% of those surveyed said they have started or increased their use of substances to cope with stress related to the pandemic. 11% seriously considered suicide.
That’s a lot of people struggling with their thoughts!
