How is it treated?

Can a Christian be depressed?

I got diagnosed with depression 5 yrs ago.I got diagnosed with anxiety 4 yrs ago.I never let anyone know i felt depressed or anxious back when i was a teenager or as an adult.I was afraid of the stigma and i was afraid i was really losing it 5 yrs ago.I have had 2 suicide attempts one 5 yrs ago and one 4 yrs ago.The thing that saved my life was coming back to God! I was so scared to let Christians know what happened to me but instead of judgment i found understanding in each of them.I thank God every day for me being here because 4 yrs ago i was 10 minutes from dying. The peace I have now is unspeakable and the joy is incredible.Do yourself a favor if you feel depressed or anxious and seek treatment because God will heal your heart and mind through these professionals!
