  1. That is true, and we need to move past the event by allowing the Holy Spirit t help us face the act of releasing the offender by forgiving them whether still alive or not. The releasing of an offender has healing power for all who choose the way all God’s children must take.

    Thank you for the teaching…Bobby

  2. I learned a long time ago that when I forgive quickly it releases me from bondage. It was good that you talked about forgiveness vs. reconciliation. That will open eyes and set people free. Thank you Grant. ?

  3. Thank you very much. I appreciated the explanation of the differences between forgiveness and reconciliation. I had never thought about that with the trust issue. I am grateful and praise God for the Christian service that you provide. God bless you and your family.

  4. As I listened, to you… a very real “fear” of the offender has risen up in me.
It’s 24 years on after the actual shattering event.
Thanks to years of Toronto Catch the Fire ministry on forgiveness and RT Kendall’s Total Forgiveness books, also your teachings…the Lord has worked through forgiving with me. He did that, too. That is done. What is going on?

It’s great that you have forgiven, but you need to have healing of the trauma of the event. Prayer ministry can walk you through the healing process so it can no longer torment you.

      1. Thanks Grant

I am thankful for your ministry
And I will investigate further to find Restoring the Foundations people people around Ottawa area or equivalent
Blessings you two you are a blessing

  5. Thank you for your teaching on the difference between forgiveness and reconciliation . I have reconciled before the trust has been restored and then the same patterns would occur all over again . I know that the debt that Christ paid for me is no less than for anyone else . It wasn’t until I heard a pastor say that both spouses should be healthy before they are reunited if separated that I felt ok to be apart . As being divorced before I prayed for restoration . No matter what status I am my position in Christ remains the same and this is a blessing ?
