  1. Hi Grant,

I couldn’t hear your video very well because there was some loud background music.

I believe that the only way I will ever hear from God is by reading the Bible. After all, the Bible is called God’s written word.

Mostly, I lead a very discouraged Christian life. My only hope of a better life is Heaven.

Thanks for sendng your monthly encouragements. I need to know that someone cares.

    Lily

  2. Dr. Grant:
    This is my first comment.

I knew nothing about hearing God’s Voice. No one ever told me about the gifts of the Holy Spirit and about being born again. When I received Jesus as my saviour I was so filled with love for people that I was overjoyed with happiness.

Shortly after, (about 2/3 days) I was awakened one night by a loud speech. My husband who is a light sleeper was sound asleep beside me. A light was in my room and my mouth was speaking this language that I did not understand and very loud. I was sitting up in bed and as I focused on the light, it disappeared. I looked around, saw my husband sleeping and I proceeded to fall back to sleep.

When I woke up that morning, a still small voice with a very strong presence and urging told me to call a woman named Rita gave me her telephone number and to tell her that: “God loved her and I loved her”. I was very hesitant to do so but the urging was so strong that it was like someone was gently putting their arms around my shoulders and leading me to the telephone. I called her. Told her my name and that I had a message from The Lord for her. She was very abrupt and said; “WHO TOLD YOU ABOUT ME”? I said no one, I don’t know you. She stated , “GIVE ME YOUR NAME AND NUMBER AND I WILL CALL YOU BACK”. That made me very anxious.

Rita called me back 15/20 minutes later. She said, “I know that the message was from God because I called everyone I know and no one knows who you are. What was the message?

I told her that “God loved her and I….Love….Her! I was waiting for the phone to be slammed. She said, “I was at that very moment about to commit suicide”.
She turned her life around and the last time I heard from her she was enjoying her grandchildren.

This has happened to me many times where God will speak to me and impact someone’s life to encourage and give them a purpose for living. The test seems to not be that what God gives you comes to pass but that it leads people towards God not away from His principles and Word. (Duet. l3)

  3. Sorry, I Should have said. Not only that it comes to pass but also that it leads people to God and his word not away from God.

  4. To Lily,…I care, and I prayed for you. I hear you and there is hope for a better life before Heaven. Continue to seek God with everything in you. A Scripture that got things moving for me was Jeremiah 33:3, 6-11, Isaiah 61:1-4, Psalm 103:1-5 and the whole chapter. I could continue with the many other Scriptures that I have cried out and that I believe God responded to. Yes God speaks huge through His Word and when you do hear from him; obey and do not doubt.

Fortunately, I have had the experience of hearing from God but unfortunately unintentionally in the midst of trying times talked myself out of doing things God’s way. There are a number of reasons for this of which I won’t deeply get into; however I am beginning to understand some of the reasons with the things I have been learning here and through other sources.

One of the items was when God directed me to take medication again after a previous difficult stretch at taking meds for six months. And yes, He directed me through His Word but also a stirring in my spirit. I could not make myself swallow the pills. It has also been a direct verbal of words coming out of me with his answer. What has followed since, lead to my and my husband’s downfall among other things. I am downtrodden at the recollection of this. Despite this, God is faithful who will not leave me a pile of ashes. He is rebuilding me.

I am so glad and thank God Maria for your obedience.

  5. Dear Lily and Laurie:

God Loves you and I love you. The longer I live, the more He shows me. If it gets worse at times, he is there and when it gets better he is there. We are never left alone. He cares for you and so do I.

Be encouraged today. I will and am praying for you. He never promised that things would always be easy. He did say that good and bad would happen to everyone. We just have The Answer on our side. God the Father who gave us His Son Jesus and the Holy Spirit to be with us always.

    Love, Maria.

  6. The one way i learnt to here is by accepting god fully into my life. it is nice to get reassurance from the spiritual world to know that i am doing okay and that the love is unconditional
