Are you begging God?
That’s how most of us pray.
But God wants us to pray as sons and daughters, not slaves.
So you need a big change in your perspective of yourself.
Click on the video and I’ll tell you how to make the switch.
To live a transformed life, you need to start declaring truth to the mountains in your life

Sometimes I feel bad because when I initially started having hypo mania and was taken off all medications to see if i can do with out , I felt like I should do declaration prayers and was encouraged by family so I can be delivered from being dependent on an antidepressant. Well that did not last long. I ended up in the hospital and felt like a failure to God like I did not trust him. After that i had need several medications to get stable. I had never had to do that before having more than one . So you can imagine my upset. Now i feel well but I don’t feel as though i prayed to declare the mountains moved. Sometimes I feel as though I copped out . In reality though I was having a mental emotional breakdown . At one time all i had was one antidepressant and now i have to be propped up to feel well. Also I am going through peri-menopause as well. Not to get too personal. I would appreciate prayer because this all has been going on for a year and I feel like this whole problem was a mountain that needed to move but then i am so grateful to feel better
I have been decreeing and declaring, “My marriage is healed and restored in Jesus name, in Jesus mighty name” for several years now. I am still waiting for the manifestation to become real in my life. God has strengthened me, but my husband is still not home, has filed for divorce and has minimal contact w/ me. I believe that it is God’s will for my marriage to be healed and will happen in His perfect timing.

Anna, if you are now feeling well, then your mountain did move! God used medicine to answer your prayers. There’s no shame to taking meds any more than there is to wearing glasses. You did not cop out. You are still full of faith and making progress. I have lots of info on Christian mental health here: https://drgrantmullen.com/q-a-forums/
Good morning.
What are the examples of declaration I can use in my prayers?
Author
Randolph, you can declare anything that is God’s will. Like, I am going to walk with God today, my family will be blessed today, God will provide all my needs today, I am receiving health into my body today. Start trying it. Go to the Steve Backlund interview and get ideas. His books are full of declarations.
Dr. Mullen,
Attended your session at Breakforth last year and signed up for your weekly video clips. Have learned a lot from your teaching and value your years of experience and expertise in the area of mental health. I have just finished reading your book “Emotionally Free” and have a much greater understanding of the bliblical path toward healing which we all need. Thank you! I have passed the book on for friends to read also. However, this week I followed your link to the Kris Vallotton facebook pages and wonder if you are endorsing his teaching. While he seems pleasant and humorous, I do have some concerns regarding the teachings of the church he pastors in Redding, California, and have spent many hours this week researching, reading and watching various video clips. Many believe that the teachings of the New Apostolic Reformation group to which he belongs are deception and not bible based and their practices are cultlike. Warnings have been issued about our need for discernment. Just wondering if you have truly checked them out? Blessings to you for all you do to guide people towards wholeness and freedom in Christ! ………Sandy

Sandy, thanks for your very important comment. You are right that we need to check things out to be sure they are sound Biblically and use discernment. Yes, I and my church leadership have thoroughly checked out Bethel, their books, DVDs and worship leaders. I’ve interviewed their pastors on my blog and they are scripturally sound. Kris Vallotton has even written an amazing book about mental illness that I really appreciated as a mental health physician. Hope that helps.
