We are all in a battle!
Spiritual warfare has to be one of the most misunderstood, confusing and intimidating issues in Christianity.
So most people just forget about it.
The problem is, you can’t.
You can’t escape the fact that you are in a battle whether you want to admit it or not.
The good news is that you don’t have to stay confused or intimidated.
In this week’s video, Rich Miller, from Freedom in Christ Ministries explains what spiritual warfare is, what it isn’t and how every Christian can be victorious.
To live a transformed life you need to submit to God so Satan will flee.
Now I want to hear from you

simple but profound – submit in order to have authority and walk in freedom – almost an oxymoron 🙂
Hi Grant,
Great teaching; you have given me something to reflect upon all day. Be blessed!
Edwin
This is a great topic and, one that caused a myriad of problems for me when I was a new believer in Jesus Christ.
However, as I began to read the Word and study , I began to understand the importance of putting on the ” armour of God ” . Ephesians 6 : 10 – 17 tells us exactly how to put in on and the purpose of each piece of armour. I learned that this was important to do every day . I also learned that most of the weapons are defensive to ” so that you will be able to stand FIRM against the schemes of the devil.” (verse 11)
Paul the apostle finishes the message by saying , ” And take the helmet of salvation
and the sword of the Spirit , which is the Word of God .
If you go to Hebrews 4 :12 you will see the power of the Word of God as a sword in your hand to fight the enemies of our soul.
I have been involved in many deliverances but most importantly, what is essential is this : remember to put on the full armour of God every morning when you wake up . Go to the book of Ephesians every day, until it becomes a part of you like dressing with clean clothes every morning. Soon, you will have committed these verses to memory and it will become a part of your attire .
In the name of the Lord of Hosts, and in His service,
Larry
Indeed it is true. We must resist the devil and in order to do that we must submit to God and then by us submitting to God, therefore accepting the truth which is needed to resist the lies of the enemy. In order to resist something, one must have an opposing belief from another point of view. When we grab hold of the truth, then we can effectively walk in victory because even though the enemy will try us, he will notice that the ones resisting him, he will flee from. If he can’t get someone believing a lie then he is wasting his time and ultimately he will flee.
Praise God.
Jesus is Lord.
Thank you for sharing. 🙂
Well put Darryl. You nailed it. Thanks.
i have been doing it trying to over come things in my life i am not giving up
I disagree.
1.My daughter was a born again Christian at the age of 13 when she was possessed. I saw it, I heard it, it scared the shit out of me. The paster came in, called in a specialist and with the help of the Holy Spirit the demon was cast out – – it did take several tries.
2. I told a friend about the experience. He was a born-again Christian troubled by demons – – he told me he went to DOC had them cast out and was set free!
He told his mother-in-law about the experience and she told him she had had several demons cast out of her too.
Is this not truly spiritual warfare?
Yes Steve that is certainly spiritual warfare. It comes in all degrees of severity and God can help us with every level.
