  1. Dr. Grant – this is a very valuable video – how simple it is once I hear it, that is to ask God what story HE wants me to believe? It took me years and years to accept the fact that God had forgiven me once and for all for my sins and that He doesn’t withhold His love when we do something we shouldn’t do and repent. His love is unconditional! What a great Story He has for me to listen to about the present and the future. It only makes sense that if our thoughts and mind narratives are negative and discourage us, then they are not from God. Bless you.

  4. So true. First I had to seek counselling and then medication to take care of my Depression and anxiety before I could fully believe in God’s love for me. I come from a dysfunctional family so I had a lot of negative messages floating around in my head and a lot to be forgiven for besides having a mood disorder but once my depression and anxiety were under control through medication I could read the Bible and Christian books with a new understanding that Jesus loves me and truly the battlefield between Satan and God rests in our minds. We need to chose to believe God and the positive thoughts He has towards us, that He loves us and forgives us and wants to bless us and that He indeed hears our prayers. This is my reality now , unfortunately if you suffer from an uncontrolled mood disorder it is almost impossible to trust in and accept God’s love. Seek help.
