Hello Grant. I really enjoy your blog. I use many as inspirational talks at our Toastmasters meetings. I just wanted to let you know that I feel that you have boxed hand gestures. If you were to draw a box in front of you from your chest to your waist, This is where your hand gestures occur. When The elbows seem to be glued to the sides, the hands have limited space to move. I like to watch great speakers and learn how the speak, use gestures, voice and facial expressions. Thanks Grant. God bless.
Thanks Bernie, glad you enjoy the blogs. But are boxed hand gestures good or bad? I couldn’t tell from your note if it needs correction or encouragement. I try to keep my gestures within the camera frame.
Hi Dr Grant..this video is so on time for me. I was just very recently reading in the book of James about the power of the tongue to bless or curse; to uplift and encourage others or to belittle and destroy them. Have read lots of stuff by Derek Prince and was just getting ready to order a book on breaking Christian curses that the Holy Spirit has been prompting me to. In fact, I was awakened by the Lord about three a.m. this morning and He showed me a certain relative of mine who has been constantly speaking negative words over me ; no wonder I have been struggling with a lot of oppression and heaviness lately. I thank God that Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law like you said, in that He became a curse for us so that we might be blessed with all spiritual blessings. I know firsthand the power of curses since I grew up in the islands amongst hindus and moslems who would work what the Bible calls witchcraft over their neighbors and peolpe would get sick or sometimes die, and since I wasn’t saved back then, I used to be terrified. But I also saw the power in the written Word of God to bring healing , blessings and life when I almost died many years and doctors had given up on me, but Jesus Christ didn’t…awesome God!! You’re right on , Dr Grant…perfect timing for us in the Body of Christ..God bless.
Thanks Glory. Glad you found it helpful. It’s a subject very few will talk about.
So good! I have learned over the years that if I suddenly feel confusion or intimidation come on me, it is because someone has spoken against me. If I know who it is, I can pray a blessing on that person and also break off the curse . If I don’t know where it is coming from, I just break it off — and the confusion lifts. People really do need to be taught these things.
Thanks for your always timely messages. I have a little grand daughter and I see through her reaction at school and with us how important every word we say may have a hurtful or helpful effect on her. It’s so good to have a precious child around to remember to watch what one says and thinks.
What happens when one says nice thing but thinks nasty things about you? Is this still blessing someone?
I think if you hear nice things about yourself, consider it a blessing.
Just thought I’d let you know you are looking good, healthy and like you have lost weight!!! Good on you!!
I will share this powerful message. It has the potential to change lives!
